Long Trail IPA

Last night I bought a sixer of Long Trail IPA. I don’t remember having seen it before so since I love IPA’s I thought I would check it out. At first I was skeptical once I poured it into the glass. It is called and unfiltered IPA, but it was pretty light for an IPA. I am used to IPA’s being a little darker in color. But I was pleasantly surprised at the enjoyable aroma and taste. This was an easy drinking IPA. It has the hoppyness to it but it is smooth. I feel this is an IPA that could be drunk in the summer or warm weather. Sometimes I am just not ready for a heavy hoppy beer when it is hot out. But this would be different.

I believe this will be a regular around Casa De Angelis.
