Here is a good easy bourbon glaze that is good for anything even fish. I use whatever bourbon I have on hand, that helps make it different each time.
1cup Bourbon and one for the chef
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1 tbls Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup roasted garlic rice wine vinegar
2 rounded tbls minced garlic (i like a lot of garlic)
2 tbls dijon mustard
Sometimes I will mix in bbq sauce in place of the ketchup and maybe some hot sauce for heat. This is a great base for many grilling sauces. You can easily add and remove items to make different flavors.
I hope you enjoy!!
OK, so I am a fan of home brews, BOURBON, and good food. Since everything is now shared on this thing called the internet I decided to start this blog to share my adventures with the world. I am putting my culinary education to work by reviewing many different bourbons, brews and food. Remember, always drink responsibly.
